Our elastic waist corduroy skirts pattern is made with ten gently curved pieces to add shape without adding bulk at the waist. The seams are vertical which is much more flattering than horizontal lines.

Our elastic waist skirt is comfortable to wear. You are not as restricted as you would be in a another skirt with a zipper closure, that might pinch a little if it doesn't fit just right. The elastic waist gives you some breathing room!

We obtain the relaxed elastic waist measurements by laying the garment out flat and measuring the length of the elastic. This is a useful measurement as you can measure the length of the elastic in a garment that you like and then decide on the slip that comes closest.
